Peak Tourlite Jacket £89-125

• Articulated cut with bent elbows
• Fully taped seams
• Breathable and durable light weight X2.5 recycled polyester

    with 10m waterproofing
• Zip opening neck and large adjustable hood with easy stow

    toggle
• Aquaout wrists and waist seals
• Easy access side zip pockets
• When sized up, can be worn over the top of a pfd
• Great around camp too

As usual with Peak, the Tourlite is a well thought out and
well finished jacket with carefully chosen
features. It’s available as the “Storm”
(pictured) and also “Long” and “Short”
                      sleeved versions without the hood.

The hood on the Storm is one of
the best on the market with
                            its stiffened peak, toggle
                            and shock cord tensioners.
                            The neoprene/velcro wrist

and waist seals keep out all but the worst water.
The only thing I’m not totally sure about is pocket accessibility. That’s a very minor
personal gripe, and far outweighed by the very best upgrade (for Irish paddlers anyway) to
this year’s Tourlite - those fantastic Colours!

Peak Bagz Shorts £59

• Comfortable and durable mid weight ripstop polyester outer with
    water repellent finish

• Polyester quick drying fleece lining
• Flat lace waist cord
• Two zip pockets with gear loops and sewn drainage
• Great both on and off the water

These shorts are very good. They’re well made, with no rough edges
and as usual Peak have thought about features. The pockets, with

                                               their gear loops and drainage
                                               holes are well placed, and
                                               the lining makes them very
                                               comfortable, even when sitting
in a kayak for a long time, or
moving around in an open boat.
Even with that, we still find it hard to justify spending €80 on a
                                                pair of shorts!
